LAUNCHPAD LAUNCHES ITS NEW SITEThere are few things as challenging and as rewarding in life as realizing a good idea and making it happen. So, in keeping with the kind of energy and fun that we bring to our work, the new LaunchPad PR website pretty much says it all. For many of our clients, PR is a journey of opportunity and discovery, one that often validates their commitment to and passion for a promising idea, and there is no doubt that making a new product or launching a new company is a “to the moon and back” proposition. LaunchPad PR revels in the opportunity to be a part of that success and to put our energy and enthusiasm into a part of that mission that can have a dramatic effect on the angle of tragectory. So you see, there is a lot more to the LaunchPad name, and it’s hard not to have fun with the motif. We love our pink lunar theme, and the huge pictures. Enjoy!

VURTEGO`S ROCKET RIDEThe stars aligned for LPPR client Vurtego Inc., the Orange County, CA maker of the world’s best pogo sticks. In classic PR fashion, the press tipped in our favor with the release of the LA Times piece on Vurtego and the company’s test pilot Brian Spencer. Subsequent press that had been nurtured for months put the Vurtego on the national radar. Via a news piece shot by local San Diego News8 station, Brian went up on CNN and maintained the top video position on CNN.com for two days — a feat in itself. Brian and his dad, Vurtego inventor & engineer Bruce Spencer, were featured on TODAY, and Brian went on to appear on the David Letterman show for a 6 minute segment that ended with Brian clearing a New York Cab. You can see it on YouTube here. Vurtego is a unique product that deserved a unique level of television coverage. |
